This Ferrero Rocher Squirrel is a curious alternative to the bunnies that pop up around Easter but a very fitting one for Ferrero and their signature combination of chocolate and hazelnut.
The hollow squirrel is made from milk chocolate and hazelnut, and around 15 cm in height, 8 cm in length and 4 cm in width.
Hazelnut and chocolate are a winning combination and came through both visually in the generously speckled surface of the chocolate as well as in the delicious nutty aroma came through on unwrapping the foil. Upon tasting, the taste is much like an (almost) neverending experience of the nutty and chocolate exterior of a Ferrero Rocher with its creamy goodness and crunch. We thoroughly enjoyed this squirrel — we expected nothing less from Ferrero Rocher — and would’ve been even more thrilled if the hazelnut the squirrel was holding was an actual Ferrero Rocher in reality. We weren’t expecting it, but one can dream.
