This UHA Mikakutō Cororo White Peach uses the juice and flesh of white peach to create a gummy that tastes like the fresh fruit.
Each gummy was around 2 x 2 x 2 cm, golden yellow in colour, with a juicy white peach aroma. Upon tasting, the teeth encountered an initial resistance from the gummy’s ‘membrane’ before sinking into the softer jelly interior, which retained some ‘crunch’ from the membrane and tiny flecks of fresh fruit that added a third element of textural interest. The peach flavour was bright and natural, with a mellow sweetness at the beginning that developed with a juicy acidity from mid-bite. The freshness of the peach flavour, combined with its unique texture, made these gummies a joy to eat.
