This Glico Pretz Chou Kari Kari Crispy Chicken is part of a series featuring the ‘thinnest and crispiest’ Pretz and featured the konbini favourite that is the crispy fried chicken.

Each bag contained around 50 pretzels, which were about a quarter of the thickness of typical Pretz. These Pretz are dusted in a fried chicken flavoured seasoning.
These Pretz have a fragrant citrusy sharpness that recalled shichimi. Upon tasting, those zesty citrus notes came through at the head of each bite before a rich savoury flavour developed with a subtle pepperiness in the body to recall a juicy fried chicken. The audible crispness that comes with the thinner pretzel magnifies the crunch of fried chicken and, together with the shichimi returning in the finish, makes for an addictive snack.
