Nestlé KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Strawberry

This is the Nestlé KitKat Chocolatory Sublime Strawberry. This is part of their premium range sold only as single full-sized wafers.

Each wafer is individually wrapped in foil and ‘covered in white couverture chocolate, infused with strawberry juice powder’. It contained 2.7% strawberry juice concentrate.

This KitKat has a light coral pink colour and rich cocoa aroma. Upon tasting, we bite through the enrobing chocolate to crisp wafers before a gentle sweetness emerged from the cream sandwiching cream. This developed with a tart acidity as the white chocolate melts in the body to release the bright notes of fresh strawberries for creamy strawberry flavour before the white chocolate recedes in the finish to leave a gently sweet and subtly tart fresh strawberry aftertaste. The natural flavour captured by the fruity KitKats from Japan help them shine above those manufactured elsewhere.
