This is the Machi Machi Black Milk Tea with Pannacotta ($9.00, less sugar, fixed ice), which consisted of a pre-set pannacotta base topped with black milk tea brewed fresh to order. Stirring the pannacotta with the straw and consuming the beverage chilled, the black milk tea delivered a fragrant depth and creaminess that is accentuated by the impossibly smooth pannacotta that adds a deep vanilla flavour with restrained notes of prominent dairy. Indeed, the enjoyable smooth richness of the pannacotta took me by surprise, although I prefer the addictive chewiness of tapioca pearls.
