These Brown & Haley Sea Salt Caramel Roca are a variation on the original Almond Roca.
Each piece is individually foil wrapped and sealed.
They have a ‘caramel buttercrunch toffee centre with almonds and a dash of sea salt, covered in [their] signature blend of cocoa beans and almond pieces’.
These caramels have a rich butterscotch aroma while on tasting, the teeth sink through the softer almond milk chocolate before meeting very firm resistance on reaching the centre. The centre shatters after biting down with steady pressure and delivered a crunchy nuttiness and rich butterscotch flavour that developed to enjoyable roasted dark caramel towards the end of the bite. While the shattered butterscotch lodges itself in our back teeth initially, the bits dissolve shortly after finishing the caramel to avoid the feeling of needing to brush our teeth.
