This Dried Guava is part of the dried fruit series from the popular bubble tea store, The Alley Lujiaoxiang.
The guava slices retain their skin and are dried with cane sugar with yellow colouring added to brighten the flesh of the fruit. The dried fruit has the same sweetness as dried mango, while on tasting, the fleshy parts of the fruit — ordinarily white, but yellow here — have a similar texture and flavour to dried mango. The edges of each piece where the guava skin is intact, however, deliver that fragrant and herbaceous flavour that defines apple guava. We enjoyed the novelty of this dried exotic fruit.
