This is the Lupicia Momo Jasmine.
The tea is a looseleaf ‘blend of jasmine tea and Darjeeling first flush, with the elegant aroma of white peaches’.
Steeping 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 80°C for 2 minutes, the infusion was a golden yellow colour with the crisp, floral sweetness characteristic of white peach. Served hot, dewy notes of jasmine emerge ahead of the crisp white peach flavour in the body that is carried by the musky-sweet, fruity quality of the Darjeeling base. A light vegetal astringency came through in the finish before the freshness of the peach lingered pleasantly in the aftertaste. The combination of the fruity Darjeeling and the dewy jasmine complement and amplify the crisp floral sweetness of the white peach, making this tea a delight.
This Lupicia Momo Jasmine contained 50 g. It was sourced from India and China, packaged in Japan, and purchased in Australia in 2021.
