This is the T2 Tummy Tea.
The tisane is a looseleaf blend of peppermint, liquorice root, fennel and marigold petals.
Infusing 3 g in 200 mL of loose leaf for 5 minutes, the infusion was a clear golden colour with a fresh peppermint aroma. Served hot, peppermint notes came through at the head of each sip before a gentle sweetness from the liquorice root and fennel developed in the body. In the finish, the refreshing peppermint lingered with a cooling tingle while the sweetness of the liquorice rounds out any hint of its usual sharpness without the addition of sugar. There is none of the offensive flavour of liquorice, making it a very enjoyable twist on a peppermint tea.
This T2 Tummy Tea contained 50 g. It was packed in Poland and received as a gift from acquaintances in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
