This is the Milk Flower Fresh Watermelon Iced Tea ($7.00, fixed sweetness, no ice). It featured a base of jasmine tea blended with fresh watermelon and lime.
The drink was a vibrant red colour with crushed watermelon floating at the top along with two slices of lime. Served chilled, the tea had a fresh, natural flavour with the vibrancy of the jasmine tea base taking us by surprise. The dewy notes of the jasmine were strong with a moderate astringency from the green tea base, yet the sweet fruitiness of the fresh watermelon held its own without the use of flavouring syrup and was well balanced by the acidity of the slices of lime. Overall, we enjoyed the balanced brightness of the natural ingredients in this drink.
