This is the Mars Snickers Ice Cream Bar, an ice cream version of the long favourite Snickers chocolate bar.
Each box contained 6 individually sealed bars.
Each bar was about 10 x 3 x 2.5 cm and contained caramel and chocolate-flavoured ice cream with salted caramel sauce, crunchy roasted peanuts and milk chocolate curls, all topped with milk chocolate
Upon tasting, the milk chocolate coating gave an initial crispness before biting through to the peanuts, which were generous and chunky with every bite. This was followed by the smooth warmth of the salted caramel that contrasted well with the ice cream, which brought a creamy and intense coldness that persisted throughout the bite. This ice cream bar was difficult to fault — it held its shape and delivered on taste, textural interest and temperature variation. It was ‘fun size’ and delicious.
