These Olina’s Bakehouse Artisan Cookies Chocolate Chip contain 17.5% dark chocolate chips.
Each cookie was around 6 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm in thickness. Upon tasting, the cookies were dense and ultra crispy much a caramelised sugar crisp, which was unsurprising in hindsight as we learnt the cookies were 48% sugar after going through the whole bag. Sugar content aside, the cookies were every bit as ‘deliciously crispy’ as advertised, with the dark chocolate chips adding a richness that cut through the butterscotch-like quality of the sweet, buttery cookie itself. These were very addictive and enjoyable.
