The gummies were a water-drop shape, measuring approximately 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm, and emitted a sweet lemon scent reminiscent of lemon squash. Although the packaging’s transparent window hinted at a fluorescent yellow hue, the gummies were a more subdued pastel yellow shade. Upon tasting, the sour crystals on the surface evoked an initial mouthwatering acidity akin to the sensation of carbonation in lemon squash. On reaching the soft interior, which had the airy plushness akin to a regular marshmallow, accompanied by the characteristic bouncy chew that Kanro’s gummies are renowned for, the lemon squash flavour matured. This progression unveiled a luscious lemony taste accompanied by subtle sweetness, leaving behind a refreshingly clean aftertaste. In sum, these gummies presented a rejuvenating flavour profile paired with a satisfying texture.
