This is the Hokkaidō Seika Minato no Oyatsu Kani Senbei. It was made with potato starch from Hokkaidō and Okhotsk sea salt and contained fish paste as well as crab paste and shrimp.

The crackers were dimensions of 3-4 cm in diameter and approximately 3 mm in thickness and accompanied by a fried aroma that bore a subtle hint of oiliness. Upon tasting, the flavour of the potato starch base surfaced initially, subsequently evolving into a maritime savoury quality by the midpoint of each bite. Contrary to the oily aroma, this did not translate into a greasy mouthfeel. Although the crab component didn’t distinctly assert itself in terms of either taste or texture, it did contribute a savoury note reminiscent of crab, setting it apart from lobster and conspicuous in its absence from the uni version. These crackers provided a pleasurable experience, although there are more delectable alternatives for repurchasing.
