Miyazaki Prefecture has earned recognition for its significant mango production. The inception of mango cultivation dates back to approximately 1984. By 1987, a method was developed to harvest fully matured fruits that fell naturally after being caught in a net. Subsequently, efforts to boost production were undertaken in diverse areas of the prefecture.
This is the Nippon Yell Miyazaki Mango Gummy, a product that utilises the juice sourced from mangoes grown in Miyazaki Prefecture.

Each gummy exhibited an opaque yellow-orange hue, measuring around 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height. Its fragrance was redolent of sweet tropical mango. Upon tasting, the gummy provided an initial resilient resistance on the exterior, gradually giving way to a softer, jelly-like centre. The outer layer imparted a mild mango flavour, while the inner portion concentrated the sweeter, more fragrant tropical nuances of mango.
In its entirety, the gummies unveiled a gradual release of luscious mango flavours, offering a layered depth and texture that masterfully encapsulated the refined sweetness and fragrance of freshly harvested mangoes. When it came to flavour, they stood on par with Cocoaland Lot 100 Mango Gummy Candy and Kasugai Mango Gumi. However, Nippon Yell’s version added a textural dimension that enhanced the aromatic profile and sweetness, resulting in a more indulgent mouthfeel.
This Nippon Yell Miyazaki Mango Gummy contained 40 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
