Notably chewy and resilient, they closely resembled the tapioca pearls found in prominent bubble tea chains that do not make their own from scratch. This contrasted with other instant brands where tapioca pearls often developed a mushy exterior while maintaining a firm interior, or retained an unusual sourness that couldn’t be masked. In summary, these instant tapioca pearls stood out as the best we’ve encountered thus far, and are the prime candidates for repurchasing.
