This is the Fujiya x Nippon Yell Palettie Melon Tart, made with 1% melon purée from Yamagata Prefecture and 2% condensed milk.

Each box contained eight individually sealed cookies.

Each cookie measured approximately 4.5 × 3.5 × 1.0 cm and featured a 0.5 cm tan-hued outer border encircling a green centre studded with white chocolate chips. The aroma was distinctly that of sweet, ripe melon.
On tasting, the tan border delivered a crisp bite with a golden-brown Maillard flavour, providing a savoury counterpoint to the centre. The green filling had a soft, moist crumb, imparting a gentle, aromatic melon sweetness that avoided any synthetic notes. The white chocolate chips melted smoothly on the tongue, delivering a creamy sweetness that softened the fruit flavour and evoked the vanilla custard base commonly found in melon tarts.
The interplay of the crunchy exterior, soft centre, and creamy inclusions created satisfying textural and flavour variation throughout each bite. The melon flavour stood out as notably more vibrant than the more muted white peach variant, making this one of the more appealing options in the Palettie range. It captured the sweetness and freshness of ripe melon in a format reminiscent of a delicate fruit tart.
This Fujiya x Nippon Yell Palettie White Peach Tart contained 8 cookies, each 10 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
