The beverage had an off-white hue and a sweet apple aroma. When consumed chilled, the flavour of red-skinned apples emerged with a rich profile, balancing moderate sweetness and refreshing acidity. With only 2% soybean solids (compared to the usual 4%), the mouthfeel and flavour resembled cloudy apple juice more than a flavoured soy milk. The soy presence was subtle, detectable mainly in the mouthfeel and finish. Overall, the light, refreshing apple flavour and juice-like quality made this drink an excellent choice for mornings, particularly as a breakfast accompaniment. It is a product worth repurchasing.
