The cabbage texture was soft, lacking the refreshing crunch characteristic of fresher kimchi. The pronounced saltiness was better moderated when paired with meat, where it contributed well as a complement. It was also well-suited for use in fried rice or stews, rather than as a direct side dish. The bite-sized pieces were convenient for cooking applications.
Overall, functional and convenient, but not one for repurchase.
