This is the Suntory Premium Two Types of Muscat, featuring a 30% blend of juice from two varieties of Muscat grapes: Shine Muscat from Nagano Prefecture and Muscat of Alexandria.

The beverage presented with a transparent yellow hue. Aroma opened with fragrant muscatel notes supported by a mellow sweetness.
Initial contact delivered the rounded medium sweetness of Muscat grapes alongside a smooth body with a viscosity slightly fuller than water. Through the mid-palate, the aromatic character of the grapes became increasingly pronounced, with floral muscatel notes expanding alongside a deepening sweetness. Despite the richness, the profile remained restrained rather than saccharine, allowing the varietal character of the grapes to remain clearly defined.
Towards the finish, subtle tropical notes emerged beneath the floral aromatics before a juicy acidity developed to balance the sweetness accumulated through the mid-palate. The sweetness gradually thinned as the beverage progressed, leaving a clean and lingering Muscat presence rather than a sugary residue. The fuller body contributed to a luxurious mouthfeel throughout, while the acidity maintained freshness and structure. Aftertaste carried lingering muscat aromatics alongside soft tropical fruit notes and a clean, non-cloying finish.
Overall, a fruit juice beverage with a rising flavour trajectory and cohesive texture integration, resulting in a rich yet highly balanced expression of Muscat grapes. The restrained sweetness, pronounced aromatics and well-judged acidity allowed the floral and tropical characteristics of both grape varieties to remain the focus.
