This is Strawberry Kisses ($6.50 for regular, no ice, regular sugar) from Bubble Nini Tea. It consisted of fresh strawberries, homemade strawberry purée, full cream milk and strawberry pearls. The drink are opaque layers of red and white with a sweet berry aroma. Consumed shaken and chilled, the milk came through sweet with a typical strawberry milk flavour, but the strawberry purée and fresh strawberries add an almost crunchy texture and tartness to the drink that cuts through the sweetness, while the pearls add a chewy sweetness with a gentle strawberry flavour. Overall, the addition of the fresh fruit means the drink avoids tasting artificial.
This Strawberry Kisses was purchased from Bubble Nini Tea located at 8 Central Park Ave, Chippendale NSW 2008 in September 2019.
