This Hunt and Brew Honduras is a coffee made with single origin beans sourced from ‘San Juan of the Intibuca region in Honduras where the high altitude, soil and conditions produce a strong bean that has notes of hazelnut and orange with a cocoa finish’. It’s a cold brew coffee made with full cream milk and no added sugar.
The coffee is a translucent light brown colour with a mild, creamy roasted aroma. Consumed chilled, the promised notes of hazelnut came through at the start of each sip with a viscous, creamy and smooth nuttiness that developed with notable yet enjoyable citrus note in the body and a stronger cocoa finish that gave an overall impression that reminds briefly of a chocolate bar with orange and hazelnuts with a more mellow, rounded flavour. This is the first of our coffees by Hunt and Brew and ranks easily as one of the best bottled coffees by any brand that we’ve tried from the supermarket.
