This is the Famous Soda Co Tangerine. It derived its tangerine flavour from natural citrus peel oils rather than fruit juice.
The beverage had an opaque orange hue, a bright, tangy tangerine aroma, and a moderate carbonation. On tasting, the tangerine flavour was prominent at the beginning of each sip, offering the sweetness of mandarin balanced with the mild tanginess of orange, free from any zesty sharpness. However, mid-sip, the carbonation abruptly cleansed the palate, cutting the body of the flavour short. This was followed by a pronounced stevia presence that dominated the finish and lingered in the aftertaste.
While the citrus flavour was enjoyable, the stevia aftertaste detracted significantly from the overall experience, making this a beverage we would not repurchase.
