Banana milk has gained significant popularity in Korea, with Binggrae Flavored Milk Drink Banana leading the trend as the dominant brand. This particular version contained 0.32% banana juice concentrate. We initially tried it in the mini bottle format, which is common in Korea, before purchasing the mini carton format, which is more readily available overseas.
The beverage had an opaque pale yellow hue. When consumed chilled, the banana flavour immediately took centre stage, offering a rich and natural fruity taste. Combined with the milk base, it resembled a creamy banana milkshake, albeit with a slightly stronger presence reminiscent of banana-flavoured candy. The banana flavour persisted until the finish, gradually receding alongside the dairy notes, which became overly pronounced. Overall, while comparable in banana flavour to the Kikkoman Soy Milk Drink Banana, this version had less sweetness. However, the heightened dairy notes detracted from its overall appeal.
