The coffee was a blend of Arabicas from Tolima, Colombia, had an intensity rating of 6 our of 12 and came in a navy-coloured capsule with a gold leaf motif.
The espresso was a translucent dark brown-black colour with a warm roasted aroma. Prepared as a long black, fruity notes that recalled red berries came through with a moderate acidity at the head of each sip and were swiftly balanced by the subtle bitterness of the cereal notes towards the finish to give the coffee a balanced mouthfeel with a medium body. Prepared with milk, all hints of acidity receded, leaving only the rather delightful roasted quality of the coffee with minimal bitterness.
This Nespresso Limited Edition Infiniment Espresso contained 10 x 5.5 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
