This Nespresso Limited Edition Infiniment Gourmand is part of the Pierre Hermé collaboration in 2022.

The coffee had a base espresso blend of South American Arabicas and was flavoured with hazelnut. It didn’t have the usual intensity rating and came in a beige-coloured capsule with a gold leaf motif.

The espresso was a translucent dark brown colour with a sweet nutty hazelnut aroma that was almost identical to the Nespresso Variations Paris Praline. Prepared black with a 1:1: ratio of espresso to water, a mild acidity accompanied by malty notes at the head of each sip was followed by a distinct hazelnut flavour in the body that developed in nutty intensity into the finish. Prepared with milk using a 4:1 espresso to milk ratio (as recommended by Nespresso) masked the acidity and rounded out the bitterness to give a smooth body with the roasted notes of the coffee boosting the nuttiness of the hazelnut flavour. Overall, this was a very enjoyable balanced coffee with a well-executed hazelnut twist.
This Nespresso Limited Edition Infiniment Gourmand contained 10 x 4.9 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
