This is the Nespresso Limited Edition Unforgettable Espresso, created as a festive release for the 2024 holiday season in collaboration with world-renowned chef Jean Imbert.

This blend underwent a split roast of Latin American coffees, primarily from Peru and Costa Rica. The first batch, composed exclusively of Arabica beans, was lightly roasted, while the second batch, a mix of Arabica and Robusta, underwent a darker roast. The capsules featured a dark blue design adorned with a gold stitch pattern and carried an intensity rating of 8 out of 13.

Prepared as an espresso according to Nespresso’s recommendations, the coffee had an opaque black-brown hue with an intense aroma of toasted grains and nuts—reminiscent of well-browned toast—without any overpowering acidity or bitterness on the nose. Served black in a 1:1 water-to-espresso ratio, the flavour opened with a mellow nuttiness, developing into deeper toasted notes mid-sip. The finish had a pronounced but balanced bitterness and acidity, with a caramelised bitterness lingering in the aftertaste. The coffee had a rich toasted flavour and a pleasant body, with well-balanced bitterness and acidity, making it a worthwhile limited-edition purchase.
This Nespresso Limited Edition Unforgettable Espresso contained 53 g (5.3 g x 10 capsules). It was produced in Swizterland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
