This is the CEAF Pandan Tea. Pandan tea is a complementary tea often served at Vietnamese restaurants.

The tea consisted of a blend of jasmine scented green tea with chloranthus, aglaia and ‘natural herb flavour’, which we interpreted as pandan.

Steeping 5 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 85ºC for 2.5 minutes, the tea was a clear golden yellow-brown hue with a fragrant pandan aroma. When consumed hot, each sip revealed vibrant pandan notes, starting with its characteristic vanilla tones and transitioning into a fresh sweetness with subtle hints of coconut. Towards the finish, a gentle vegetal flavor from the green tea emerged. In the aftertaste, the aromatic pandan notes lingered alongside a subtle astringency. Overall, this tea was enjoyable and reminscent of happy times spent at Vietnamese restaurants.
This CEAF Pandan Tea contained 100 g. It was produced in Vietnam and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2023.
