Glico Pretz Magical Milk

This is the Glico Pretz Magical Milk. It was designed to undergo a unique transformation upon combination with existing Pretz flavours.

The intention was for it to morph into a pie stew flavour when paired with the salad flavour, a tomato cream pasta flavour when mixed with the tomato flavour, and a pancake flavour when eaten with the roast flavour.

Each package contained two light blue bags.

Each bag had approximately 20 biscuit sticks. These Pretz sticks were coated with a white powder and emitted a sweet milky fragrance.

When consumed independently, the Pretz sticks boasted the same sweet milk flavour indicated by the aroma. However, this flavour profile was not particularly pleasing. When consumed alongside the salad-flavoured Pretz (our preferred option among the three regular flavours), the milk-flavoured Pretz complemented the tangy undertones. This amalgamation resulted in a creamier and slightly sweet dimension to the savoury salad taste, reminiscent of a bechamel-based cream stew. The biscuit base contributed to the pie element, while the stew aspect was encapsulated by the creamy, savoury qualities with a hint of vegetable-induced sweetness. Overall, the experience was entertaining, although we leaned toward enjoying the original salad flavour on its own.

This Glico Pretz Magical Milk contained 62 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
