This is the Dairy Farmers Thick & Creamy Layered Yoghurt Australian Berries, featuring blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry, released during the peak of berry season in spring 2024. It contained 1.6% blueberry purée, 1.6% blackberry purée, and 0.8% raspberry purée.
The fruit layer, found at the bottom of the tub, had a dark red hue. Upon tasting, the smooth berry purée offered a nuanced sweetness, blending the fresh sweetness of ripe blueberries with the deeper, muskier notes of blackberries and a balancing tartness from raspberries. The amount of purée was generous and complemented the thick and creamy yoghurt base well. While we appreciated the blend of Australian berries, the overall flavour was somewhat less exciting compared to other varieties in the lineup from Queensland, such as Strawberry & Australian Wattleseed, Mango & Australian Fingerlime, and Pineapple & Passionfruit.
