On tasting, the sour crystals on the surface delivered a bright, crisp acidity that gave way to a chewy yet non-sticky gummy exterior. The pink grapefruit flavour appeared immediately, starting softly before developing into a vivid, mouth-watering sourness mid-palate. This outer layer contrasted with the soft puréed centre, which released a rich lemon flavour reminiscent of lemon curd—tart yet rounded with a honeyed sweetness that created a smooth, almost buttery melt. As with other variants in this series, the elegant balance of texture and flavour contributed to a highly refined gummy well worth revisiting.
