This is the Nippon Yell Gummy Tokushima Sudachi, made with sudachi juice from Tokushima Prefecture. Sudachi is a citrus fruit native to Tokushima, known for its bright, floral aroma and refreshing tartness.

Each gummy was dome-shaped, measuring approximately 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height, with an opaque yellow-green hue and a refined, bright citrus aroma.
On tasting, the sour crystals on the surface provided an immediate tang, followed by a firm, bouncy exterior that gave way to a softer jelly-like core. The sudachi flavour emerged gently at first with a mellow sweetness, before developing mid-palate into an elegant floral citrus character. The gummy texture extended the chew, with each subsequent bite releasing a moderate juicy acidity, complemented by the surface crystals. The finish was tingling yet smooth, without any harshness from the oils, allowing the natural flavour of the juice to shine.
Overall, these gummies captured the refreshing tartness and floral aroma of sudachi, offering a unique and enjoyable citrus experience worth repurchasing.
This Nippon Yell Gummy Tokushima Sudachi contained 40 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2024.
