UHA Mikakutō Kororo Nijiseiki Nashi

This is the UHA Mikakutō Kororo Nijiseiki Nashi, a gummy featuring Nijiseiki nashi and apple juice.

The gummy presented in a short sausage shape, measuring approximately 2 cm in length and 1.5 cm in diameter, with a golden yellow hue and a moist, slightly sticky exterior. Aroma opened with sweet, fragrant nashi notes.

Initial contact delivered immediate sweetness alongside the characteristic taut outer membrane, which offered a sausage-like resistance before yielding with a satisfying snap. Beneath this, the thick jelly interior provided a soft, succulent texture that immediately introduced the delicate sweetness of Nijiseiki nashi. Through the mid-palate, the fruit profile broadened as gentle acidity emerged, lending the pear increasing juiciness and aromatic lift. As the jelly gradually melted, fine granular particles from the nashi became apparent, contributing a subtle, soft crunch that contrasted with both the resilient membrane and the firmer jelly beneath. The combination reinforced the impression of fresh pear, with the layered textures working together to anchor the fruit as the dominant flavour.

Towards the finish, the acidity and fragrance continued to build, giving the nashi a bright, juicy character before gradually receding. Aftertaste carried lingering sweet-tart pear notes with delicate floral nuances, while the remaining membrane provided a final gentle chew that extended the fruit flavour.

Overall, a gummy with a rising fruit-forward flavour progression and a layered textural structure, resulting in a convincing and highly satisfying expression of fresh Nijiseiki nashi.
