Aldi Biocult Probiotic Drink Peach

This is the Aldi Biocult Probiotic Drink Peach, a seasonal variation from the strawberry and blueberry flavours of previous years. It achieved its peach flavour from artificial flavouring. Each bottled contained 65 million CFU of lactobaccilius paracasei.

The beverage had an opaque beige hue, reminiscent of the original flavor, and emitted a sweet tart aroma. Both the aroma and taste closely resembled that of a peach-flavored yogurt, with the (artificial) peach flavour presenting itself naturally and freshly, akin to a yellow peach. The sweet and subtly acidic notes of the fruit harmonized well with the tartness of the probiotic drink.

While we found the flavour of this variation enjoyable, our preference still lies with the fresher taste of the natural flavoring found in the strawberry version. However, it’s worth noting that our preference for strawberry-flavored yogurt extends to the category as a whole.

This Aldi Biocult Probiotic Drink Blueberry contained 325 mL (5 x 65 mL). It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
