Part of Arnott’s Twisted Faves collection is the Salted Chocolate Slice, which replaces the mint cream in the Mint Slice with a salted chocolate cream.

There are visible salt crystals in the chocolate cream, giving occasional pops of saltiness. The salt enhances flavour, bringing out the rich notes of the chocolate cream. As in a mint slice, the crunch of the chocolate biscuit base provides a textural contrast to the cream, while the enrobing dark chocolate cuts through the sweetness of the cream. It’s a tasty biscuit without the addictive refreshing quality of a Mint Slice.
