This Bundaberg Sparkling Drink Guava is part of a series of soft drinks craft-brewed over two days. It contained guava juice (5%) as well as guava brew made from guava purée.

 

The drink was an opaque bright pink-red colour with a sweet, tropical aroma of guava and a moderate carbonation. Upon tasting, notes of guava came through mellow and deepen slightly in the body along with a prominent sweetness that persists throughout the sip. Overall the guava flavour was weaker and lacked the depth we remember of the drink a few years ago when it was a paler pink colour. Here, it relies on the sweetness to carry the flavour, which results in some artificiality.

This Bundaberg Sparkling Drink Guava contained 375 ml. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
