Eating multiple bites of the same sweet flavour bores my palate after a while, so this special edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Mad 4 Mint is something I can get behind.

It featured milk chocolate with four smooth flowing flavours of original mint, peppermint, choc mint, and spearmint. From right to left:

• Original mint tastes like a sweet after dinner mint with a good balance between the sharpness of the mint and the sweetness of the chocolate.
• Peppermint is a strong mint flavour that hits you in the face, much more so than any after dinner mint. That said, it’s refreshing and clears your sinuses.
• Choc mint has an extra chocolatey boost that reminds of the choc mint herb plant my parents used to keep in the garden when I was a child. It lends a rounder flavour than the original mint.
• Spearmint is generally one of my least favoured mints as it reminds me of toothpaste. Thankfully, the spearmint here is subtle and is balanced well with the sweetness and richness of the milk chocolate.

I enjoyed these chocolate squares. The different fillings in each square forces you to enjoy each one individually to savour the flavour.
