It’s described as having ‘a sweet, juicy apple, raisin and cinnamon spice filling baked in a soft and delicious cookie for the ultimate apple cookie pie experience’. It contained 24% apple filling made from 12% dried apple and 7% raisins.

The cookies are around 6 x 3 x 1 cm in size and have a vibrant aroma of cinnamon. Upon tasting, the cookie has a large crumb that’s audibly crunchy and restrained in sweetness. The maintains its integrity by the gooey apple filling, which has an enjoyable cooked apple flavour but also a very prominent sweetness that’s emphasised by the raisins. The overall, flavour — taste and texture — recalled an apple crumble in cookie form. These cookies capture that sensation well, but we do prefer the physicality of eating a real apple pie.
