Glico Olive Pretz Basil is part of a series made using 5% olive oil.

The box contained two packs with 9 biscuit sticks each.

Each biscuit stick is golden brown and about the thickness of four original Pretz sticks. The sticks have ridges across the top that remind one of a baguette flecked with basil and dusted in salt.

These biscuit sticks have a prominent aroma of olives. Upon tasting, the aroma of olives came through prominently more as a fragrant olive oil flavour that emerged in the head and almost reminds of a salty cheese. In the body, the olive notes give way to hints before returning prominently in the finish and lingering cleanly in the aftertaste. Overall, it’s like eating crunchy Italian bread with none of the sweetness that usually characterises the salad or tomato flavours.
This Glico Olive Pretz Basil contained 2 packs or 49 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
