Each piece, measuring about 2 x 1.8 x 0.8 cm, came in either the shape of Rilakkuma’s face or a strawberry. It had a beige hued condensed milk-flavoured gummy exterior enveloping a pale pink strawberry jelly centre infused with real strawberry juice, and emitted a sweet aroma reminiscent of strawberries and cream.

Upon tasting, the gummy exterior offered a satisfying chewiness, accompanied by a gentle creaminess. The thin layer of strawberry jelly inside provided a refreshing burst of acidity that delicately counteracted the creamy sweetness of the condensed milk gummy. The overall flavour resembled that of fresh strawberry milk made with fresh strawberries. Although we appreciated the unexpected mellow creaminess with the lively strawberry taste, we’d lean towards a gummy solely flavoured with strawberry juice, minus the condensed milk addition.
