This is the Kabaya Miniature Strawberry Cake Gummy.

Each gummy featured a slice of white strawberry-flavoured marshmallow atop which sat a red strawberry-flavoured gummy. Eight slices of the gummy could be arranged to form a whole cake.

Each gummy slice emitted a sweet strawberry aroma and measured around 2 cm in radius. The ‘cake’ portion stood at 1 cm in height, with the addition of a 1 cm strawberry on top. Upon tasting, the marshmallow ‘cake’ base offered an initial delicate floral sweetness, evolving into a subdued berry sweetness towards the finish. The cake featured a mellower flavour and a softer, more airy texture reminiscent of actual cake. In contrast, the strawberry ‘top’ displayed a bouncier texture and delivered a vibrant sweet-tart strawberry flavour. The overall taste impeccably captured the flavour of a Japanese strawberry cake.

Comparatively, these gummies bore a resemblance to Allens Strawberry and Cream Lollies. However, these gummies outshined them with their vivid, natural strawberry flavour. The balance between berry sweetness and pleasant sourness was particularly well-executed, setting them apart as a superior choice.
