Fuji apples are my favourite sweet apple for their crisp, crunchy and juicy carbonation. This Kabaya Pureral Gumi Fuji Apple takes the sweet apple and turns it into a gummy.

Each gummy is a 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm, with the light yellow sections described as gummy with a sharp apple flavour and the bright yellow sections described as having a texture similar to real apples.

The gummies have a bright aroma of juicy Fuji apples. Upon tasting, the lighter yellow sections are soft and chewy like a marshmallow and have a very intense Fuji apple flavour with a sharp tartness following a brief sweetness that recalled the carbonation of the apple. This is contrasted with the brighter yellow sections that have a firmer texture that cuts through cleanly with each bite, recalling the crunch of tiny cubes of fresh apple. These gummies taste exactly as described — delicious!
