This is the Kanro Puré Gumi Premium Ehime Unshū Mikan. As the name suggests, it’s made with the juice of unshū mikan from Ehime Prefecture in Japan.

Each piece was a heart-shaped form, measuring approximately 3 x 2.5 x 0.5 cm, with a central hue of deep orange enveloped by a paler yellow exterior. The softly sweet aroma of mandarin wafted from the gummy. Upon tasting, the presence of sour crystals initiated a burst of salivating acidity. Biting into the gummy revealed a subtle sweetness, yet the predominant mandarin flavour was housed within the soft purée centre. This core exhibited a vibrant and sweet mandarin taste, characterized by a gentle tartness and modest zing. Notably, the concentrated mandarin flavour within the centre was sufficient to carry the entirety of the gummy’s taste profile from beginning to end. It’s worth noting that this flavourful core didn’t impart any numbing sensation, as the flavour was derived from the fruit’s juice rather than its oils. On the whole, these gummies proved to be enjoyable and warrant consideration for future repurchases.
