This is the Kirin Gogo no Kōcha Tea Selection Summer Blend Ice Tea. It featured an unsweetened black tea blend composed of Dimbula (36%), Kandy (34%), and Darjeeling (30%), sourced from Sri Lanka and India, and was flavoured with mango extract and natural flavouring.

The tea had a transparent golden-orange hue and a refreshing tropical mango aroma. When consumed chilled, the tropical mango notes emerged subtly at the start of each sip before transitioning into an exceptionally smooth and fruity black tea. The brewing process—evidently at a low temperature—ensured zero bitterness or astringency, allowing the tea’s natural fruitiness and sweetness to shine. The clean black tea flavour lingered into the finish, where the mango notes reemerged with greater intensity, delivering a pleasant tropical boldness without the sweetness or acidity typically associated with fruit juice.

This light, refreshing, and well-balanced iced tea combined a delicate tropical fruit aroma with a smooth tea base, making it an ideal summer beverage and well worth repurchasing.
