We get gifted more than our share of chocolate during the holidays, so it takes something special to catch our attention. Like this Koko Black Nine Naughty Bunnies.

Each box contained nine bunnies.

There were three each of white (28%), milk (34%) and dark (54%) chocolate, each filled with hazelnut praline.

The white chocolate bunny gave a smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a pronounced milky sweetness to the nutty praline centre.

The milk chocolate delivered a rounder mouthfeel as the milk chocolate melted at a similar rate to the praline, while the more restrained sweetness from the milk chocolate allowed the hazelnut to shine brighter.

Finally, the dark chocolate provided a gentle crunch and bold flavour that dominated the nutty notes of the praline. We enjoyed the contrasting textures, but the more balanced mouthfeel and flavours of the milk chocolate made it our favourite.
