This Nestlé KitKat Honeycomb Smash is one of the more recent additions to their line available through supermarkets (as opposed to their boutique store).

Each package contained ’11 wafer fingers covered in smooth honeycomb flavoured milk chocolate topped with salted honeycomb crisps (1%)’.

These KitKat have a sweet caramelised aroma. Upon tasting, the enrobing chocolate gave way to the crisp wafer before the milk chocolate melts on the palate. This releases the airy honeycomb in the chocolate that gave a slight popping crispness as they’re rehydrated and release a gentle saltiness that restrained the prominent sweetness of the milk chocolate in the finish for a surprisingly clean aftertaste for such a sweet bar of chocolate.

This Nestlé KitKat Honeycomb Smash contained 170 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
