This is the Nissin Foods Demae Iccho Spicy Seafood.

Each package includes a noodle cake and separate sachets for the powdered soup base and sesame oil. To prepare, the noodles are cooked in 500 mL of boiling water for 3 minutes. The soup base is placed in a bowl before adding the cooked noodles and hot water, dissolving the base. The XO sauce is added last, just before serving.

The prepared noodles were in a translucent yellow soup base topped with a red oil layer. On tasting, the noodles maintained a slightly firm texture with a pleasant bounce, effectively picking up the broth. The broth had a garlicky soy-based flavour with strong seafood notes, notably from rehydrated cuttlefish and clams, while the seasoning oil provided a satisfying level of spiciness. The overall taste resembled a Korean seafood jiggae, albeit with a sharper chilli flavour. While enjoyable, we still prefer the more elastic texture and rounder taste of Nongshim instant noodles.
