Upon tasting, the signature notes of turmeric, paprika, and cumin persist throughout the mouthful along with a hint of acidity to cut through the spices and the underlying savoury notes, which we assume to be the chicken. Overall, it’s successful in capturing the flavours of Morrocan spices but lacked complexity — beyond tasting like the Moroccan seasoning we can get from the supermarket — to maintain our interest.
