This is the Guozi Shule Gardenia Oolong.

The tea had a clear light yellow hue with a mild floral aroma reminiscent of mellow jasmine. When consumed chilled, the gardenia notes were significantly more subtle than the aroma suggested. A soft sweetness appeared at the beginning of each sip, swiftly developing into mellow, dewy jasmine-like notes. Mid-sip, creamy undertones recalling a jin xuan oolong emerged, finishing with mild astringency and a touch of creamy green notes that lingered in the aftertaste. However, despite its similar flavour profile to jasmine, the overall flavour tasted weak and more akin to refreshing sweetened water, similar to the osmanthus oolong by the same brand, making it not worth repurchasing.

This Guozi Shule Gardenia Oolong contained 500 mL. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
