In February, Smith’s released a ‘Family Fave’ series that combine the nostalgic flavours of classic, homemade meals with potato chips. There are two weekdays in their lineup — Monday and Friday — and the flavour for Monday is Mac n’ Cheese.

The chips were crinkle cut with bright yellow colour and a pungent cheese aroma. Upon tasting, the overall flavour was nostalgic not because it recalled mac n’ cheese, but because it tastes like a richer and cheesier version of the Cheese and Onion Flavour that’s a mainstay of the Smith’s range. But then again, cheese is really the only flavour we could’ve expected as mac n’ cheese isn’t a particularly creative flavour given that the macaroni is more of a vehicle for the cheese.

This Smith’s Potato Chips Mac n’ Cheese contained 150 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
